Intriguing Combination of Modern Minimalism and Natural Materials Define this House in Brazil
Organic tones and textures define this house in Brazil as it positions itself in a breathtaking landscape.
CR House, located in Serra das Cabras, between the districts of Joaquim Egídio and Sousas in Campinas, São Paulo, is an impressive residence that stands out with its imposing facade composed of extensive horizontal lines and an intriguing combination of modern minimalism and rich organic materials.
Divided into five cores, this large-scale house harmoniously blends with the exterior environment, promoting a seamless connection between the interior and exterior. With a total area of 20,000 square meters, the project was carefully planned to adapt to the terrain and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
The residence was designed to meet the needs of a family expecting twins. The goal was to create a home that would be suitable for day-to-day living while also providing the coziness of a vacation house filled with recreational spaces. The residents' desire is to never leave the residence because everything essential is there.
The architects took advantage of the topography, using the highest point as a starting point for construction, resulting in a three-story stepped house that provides the best views.
The house program, a blend of weekend retreat and urban residence, offers a wide variety of spaces including a living room, dining room, home theater, seven suites, office, gourmet space, wine cellar, gym, beach tennis courts, panoramic view pool, ornamental lake, game room, and playroom, among others. Each room features an attractive frame of the scenery, highlighted by generous windows that allow abundant natural light to enter.
A neutral color palette combined with the predominant use of wood imparts harmony and purity to the spaces. The minimalist interiors are complemented by exquisite furniture. Design details such as the glass and wood staircase add charm and personality to the environment.
The landscaping of the residence was carefully planned by landscape architect Alexandre Furcolin to enhance integration with the external landscape. The outdoor spaces feature a balanced combination of modern and functional furniture, emphasizing the natural elements around.
CR House is an elegant architectural masterpiece that stands out with its commanding presence in the landscape. Its perfect integration with the environment and attention to detail, combined with the use of organic materials and contemporary minimalism, result in a stunning residence that perfectly complements the natural beauty of its surroundings.
