Welcome @OurRestorationNation and our kickoff of Spring Pilgrimage 2024 in Natchez, Mississippi, beginning March 9! Leading up to the doors opening into these extraordinary historic homes we'll be giving you little sneak peeks inside! These are private homes, and only twice a year do the current owners allow the public inside. Only in Natchez, Mississippi can you see architecture spanning pre-history, the Spanish/French/British colonial periods, the Neo-Classical and Greek Revival periods, into the modern era. Natchez truly is the encyclopedia of America's architectural history!

We are starting our lead up with the incomparable Sweet Auburn. Sweet Auburn is an exquisite example of Federal Period architecture, and retains an incredible number of its original features. Sweet Auburn was purchased 31 years ago by current owner Charlotte Copeland and her late husband, and they undertook a massive and meticulous restoration of the property. Sitting on 21 acres just outside the city limits of Natchez, Sweet Auburn is a retreat back into time. Laine's favorite feature? The family cemetery with period monuments out back!

Each day of Spring Pilgrimage a series of different homes are open from which you can select. On the weekend of March 15-17 we'll be hosting our second annual Restoring Hope weekend. During that weekend we'll be hosting nine meals, providing non-stop hop on hop off bus transport to the tour homes, as well as to additional local sites and shopping, and hosting a series of special, once in a lifetime events, all for one exceptionally low price. Be watching in the coming days for more details about the event, ticket sales and lodging!

You can begin buying tickets to the Spring Pilgrimage Tour homes in just a few short days! Follow the link here to buy your tickets and plan your trip. Come join us in Natchez!

Countertops are one of the biggest decisions you'll make in a kitchen renovation or new build — because this isn't just about aesthetics. It's about how you actually live. Marble, quartzite, quartz, and soapstone each have their own strengths, trade-offs,

Black is one of the most versatile colors in design… but the magic happens in what you pair it with. The most elevated spaces use black to create contrast, depth, and balance rather than letting it dominate the room. When paired thoughtfully, black feels

Pea gravel driveways are having a major moment right now. There’s something about that soft texture, old-world charm, and unmistakable crunch under your tires that instantly makes a home feel established and timeless. But like most beautiful things… they

Replying to @Maria Isabel4909 If your home still has a lot of gray… you do not need to start over. The goal isn’t to fight the gray — it’s to soften it. Warmer lighting, natural woods, richer textures, layering, and earthy accents can completely shift how
