The Convention is the premier real estate education and trade show event in the state of Michigan! The Convention features CE Marketplace Certified Knowledge Sessions, numerous networking opportunities and innovative products and services in the Expo.

The course will review materials needed by real estate licensure and broker candidates to pass the PA State Real Estate exam. The textbook to be used for both classes is Modern Real Estate Practice in Pennsylvania, 14th Edition. The book should be picked up and reviewed prior to class.

This course will incorporate sections of the NAR Code of Ethics, as well as current RELRA regulations regarding practices, procedures and professionalism of licensees, and will review how ethical principles tie into RELRA requirements and PA Real Estate Commission Rules and Regulations in protecting consumers.

This course will satisfy the 2.5-hour NAR Ethics requirement for the January 1, 2022-December 31, 2024 Ethics Cycle.

Are you curious about how the new rules and PAR Standard Forms will (or will not) affect your agency relationships? This course will provide an overview of agency relationships, discuss the changes (if any) that the new MLS rules have affected, and review some of the forms that impact those relationships. This course will discuss creating agency relationships between Buyer Agent, Seller Agent, Dual Agent, Designated Agent and Non-agent/transactional licensees. The course will review agency responsibilities, limitations of duty, Issues of the agency, and documents and tools of the trade such as the Agreement of Sale, Addenda, Inspections, disclosure forms, negotiations, and much more.

This course covers the principles and practices of real estate appraisal, including general data analysis, residential real estate markets, neighborhood analysis, site description and analysis, highest and best use, specific data and improvement analysis, principles of value, gross rent multiplier and special appraisal techniques.

Held three times annually and open to all members, PAR Business Meetings present the opportunity for member committees and the board of directors to analyze and formulate policies on issues affecting the industry and the association.

Real Estate Fundamentals is one of two pre-licensing classes needed in order to sit for the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission’s real estate salesperson exam. The primary objective of the course Real Estate Fundamentals is to enable students to develop an understanding of complex legal issues involved in the study of real estate and provide them with a solid, technical, legal foundation upon which a successful career can be built.
