It’s Showtime: Theater in Small-Town Minnesota Now on the Market for $1M

Forget Netflix. The buyer of this historic building in small-town Minnesota also gets a three-screen movie theater. It possibly means movies on demand—in an actual theater.

“The listing is the theater,” says listing agent Jenna Vikse, of Jane Vikse Real Estate, when asked what’s included with the sale of a 12,454-square-foot building dating to 1937.

While the theater takes top billing, the structure also includes four apartments and two retail spaces. In late September, the property was listed for $1 million.

“A couple bought it a few years ago when it was in really bad shape and restored it,” says Vikse about the building. Among the updates is the welcome addition of in-floor heating.
