Quarterback Baker Mayfield is now a free agent after playing for both the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams last season.
And according to reports, there’s NFL-wide interest in Mayfield’s signal-calling chops.
Of more immediate relevance, though, is the interest in Mayfield’s Ohio real estate.
After just 13 days on the market, the athlete’s four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in Westlake, OH, sold for $949,900—nearly what he’d asked for it.
Mayfield purchased the place in 2018 for $750,000, and the fast sale helped him tackle a nice profit.
The 10-room, brick residence was built in 2017. It features a two-car garage and is conveniently situated about 12 miles west of Cleveland, where Mayfield made his 2018 NFL debut with the Browns. Here’s what else the talented quarterback is leaving behind.
The townhome is just six years old.

A soaring, double-height ceiling crowns the living room, which features a fireplace built into a wall of chevron-patterned brick. Chic, dark wood floors flow into the kitchen, which has an island and serving peninsula.
The wood floors continue upstairs, though some of the bedrooms have plush beige carpet. Double vanities and a large shower are key amenities in the primary bath.
And for some at-home fun, the abode includes a large bar and wall counter with extra seating. The space also offers a roomy theater for movie screenings (or critiquing the day’s plays on tape).

Mayfield starred in college for the Oklahoma Sooners and won the 2017 Heisman Trophy. He was the top pick overall in the 2018 NFL draft, selected by the Cleveland Browns. In 2020, the standout quarterback led the team to its first playoff win in nearly 30 years. Following a so-so 2021 season, the team traded its once-prized player to the Panthers. Mayfield only lasted a half season in Carolina before being released.
