Past Golden Globe winner Pia Zadora faced terrible reviews at the beginning of her career, notching three less-than-coveted Golden Raspberry Awards for her acting.

At the height of her fame—or infamy—she took up residence where one of Hollywood’s most fabled homes once stood.

For a couple of decades, Zadora lived in the Beverly Hills property once known as Pickfair. She sold it in 2005.

Now the former actress is attempting to sell a more modest Southern California abode—her townhome in Malibu. She has listed the place for $2,350,000.

The two-bedroom, 1,320-square-foot townhouse is modest by Hollywood standards, but it does have a two-car garage. And it’s part of a gated community that sits on more 11 acres, making it seem quite sizable and private.

The home is a desirable end unit.

Beautiful details include hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a wood-burning fireplace. Ocean views are precisely the point in this locale, and you can glimpse the water from the living room and the primary bedroom.

There’s a patio near the entry and a large balcony that flows from the main room. The property is part of a homeowners association, which gives owners access to a heated saltwater pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a clubhouse. Monthly dues are a relatively steep $1,161.

But the true highlight of this community is its proximity to Zuma Beach, just below the stunning bluff at the edge of the property. There’s also a fun restaurant on the same sandy strip.
