Glitzy Property Brothers House Hits the Vegas Market for Under $1M

The vast majority of “Property Brothers” renovations that hit the market feature just a few rooms made over in the siblings’ signature styles. The rest of the house is left to the owner’s vision.

But the homes featured on “Brother vs. Brother” have the Jonathan or Drew Scott stamp on every square inch.

This HGTV spinoff series pits the designing twins against each other as they work on separate homes, room by room. Each brother competes to see who can make the most profit on his newly renovated home once it sells. Proceeds go to charity, of course.

The homes featured on “Brother vs. Brother” seldom appear on the market. Once Jonathan and Drew get their hands on them, they turn out so beautifully that the buyers typically don’t want to let them go.

So it’s quite the event when one of these homes comes up for sale. This Las Vegas luxury abode from Season 4 is a real find, because it’s being offered for just $950,000. And it includes all the designer furnishings. That’s a value of $80,000, the listing notes.

Designing men

The current owner purchased the house from the brothers in 2016 for $590,000.

Drew designed this five-bedroom, four-bath home. As glamorous as it is, it didn’t win the “Brothers vs. Brother” competition. It seems he put so much money into making it shine, he turned a smaller profit than Jonathan did on his home.

But Drew’s loss was the buyer’s gain. This home has been blinged to the rafters, in a way that actually looks comfy rather than casino—but with a dash of glitz.

The 3,600-square-foot home was originally built in 1987 and has been updated with designer touches like feature walls, crystal light fixtures, contemporary sliding barn doors, and all sorts of cozy built-in nooks.

The eye-catching tile backsplashes in the bathrooms, kitchen, and bar area are sublime and anything but basic.

As for the kitchen, it features top-of-the-line, stainless-steel appliances, a waterfall island, wine fridge, and dining peninsula.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area with a posh dining set and fireplace, plus a game room with a billiard table. The space could easily be converted into another family room.

Another highlight is the spacious primary suite, with metallic silver wallpaper, royal purple drapes, and a grand double-door entry.

Drew transformed the backyard into a resortlike oasis, creating plenty of seating spaces around the amoeba-shaped pool.

And the spectacular outdoor entertaining area includes a cabana with an outdoor kitchen, a bar, and dining area.

Even the laundry room-mudroom combo is fancy, with its double washers and dryers.

You might wonder why the owner would let this dreamy spread go. According to listing agent Stephanie G. Coughlin, the reason is a common one: It’s simply time to downsize.

But the owner is reported to have taken immaculate care of the place, so it’s still in perfect “Property Brothers” condition.
